Pudimadaka Lighthouse is located in Anakapalli district, Andhra Pradesh, India, near the coast at coordinates 17°29.3' N and 83°00.3' E. It covers an area of 4.4 acres and is situated about 25 km from Anakapalli town.
The lighthouse stands at an elevation of 35 meters with a tower height of 26 meters, painted in red and white horizontal bands for visibility. It was commissioned on 21st January 1971 and later renovated in 1991, 2002, and 2008. Currently, it uses three 70 Watts Metal Halide Lamps along with optical equipment supplied by BBT Paris. The light has a range of 16.5 nautical miles and exhibits a group flashing (2) white light every 15 seconds, aiding vessels navigating the eastern coastline.
